The missing bit

Camels sea gorges

33 °C

Forgot this bit.

This comes before getting to Marrakech and after the camels.

There were kids on the side of the road holding out very small baby desert foxes to show us.

After showering, to get rid of half the desert, we had breakfast then we kept on driving through to the Todra Gorge. There were some rock climbers climbing, without helmets. The gorge was amazingly high and there was a lot of roadwork going on, which was annoying but it was good because they were widening the road, which was much too narrow and dangerous.

That night we stayed at a really nice hotel, it had a pool, which wasn't heated and it was freezing cold, Mum jumped in first and almost got out straight away and it was the same with me. All three of us went in the spa and the spa was perfectly warm.

The next day we had a very big breakfast then we left. We drove through the High Atlas mountains, I fell asleep probably due too the travel calm I took earlier. when I woke up we were still in the High Atlas and after that we had a brake and I bought a crystal. after more driving we stopped at a factory cutting and polishing fossils and I bought some fossils.

After a little more driving on a very winding road we came into Marrakech.

Gaelan signing off.
